MX11 Nozzle

With Synchro plate for closely pitched cavities

Mastip extends the MX nozzle range by offering an 11 series. This joins the popular 09, 13, 16 & 19 series.

The nozzles are intended for high cavity systems in both thermal and valve gate. The heater, thermocouple, tip and nut are designed for front loading which can be accessed and serviced by removing the cavity plate. This can also be done in the press saving valuable time resulting in higher production efficiencies.

The MX11 is suited for closely pitched cavities focusing on the medical and packaging industries. Requiring a Ø16mm nozzle pocket and Ø8mm nut this nozzle is perfect for restrictive gating areas. The nozzle head is 22mm across flats.

Technical Information

To achieve the close cavity pitching Mastip offers a Synchro Plate to remove the need for individual actuators.

The Synchro Plate is offered in 2 options.

#1 with valve pins fitted directly into the Synchro Plate or #2 using an insert that can be disengaged to isolate the movement of an individual valve pin while allowing the rest to continue operating as normal until the production run is complete.

The Synchro Plate can be used with the 11, 13, 16 and 19 series nozzles.
