We are looking for someone special to lea the US based team and to contribute to and execute our North American sales strategy. Your focus in conjunction with the CEO will be to plan and execute our growth and sales objectives, building the most efficient organisation to support and service Mastip customers in North America and Mexico.

Your Experience:

  • You will have a proven commercial track record with a sales team in a technical product-based B2B environment
  • Previous background in Plastics Industry preferably related to injection molding and hot runners
  • You will have prepared strategic plans supporting and targeting sales growth for key customers and corporate accounts
  • You have a great understanding of proactive pricing strategy, whilst maximising both sales and margin
  • You will be familiar with trade fairs and similar exhibitions and what it takes
  • You will need energy, flexibility and resilience for this role

In support of this, we are seeking a Sales & Applications Engineer to join as a key member of our Solutions Team - Europe.

 

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

  • University degree in mechanical and/or plastic or polymer engineering or combination of mechanical and plastics processing experience
  • 2+ years’ of experience in a similar industry
  • Experience in a technical sales role
  • Proven ability to analyze and to solve complex technical problems
  • Good organisational, communication and presentation skills
  • Some experience in hot runner systems will be an advantage
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken is required in addition to native language

Here are some of the role functions required:

  • The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge in the injection moulding fields such as processing, mould making, materials, and part design
  • To provide world-class applications engineering and technical support to Mastip customers resulting in growing sales
  • To deliver timely and accurate quotes to Distributors based on the best available information
  • To ensure the design team have the best engineering solution to work with based on all required information

To nurture and build relationships with allocated distributors through all possible means including feet on the ground visits to provide training and support.

We are looking for someone special to fill a newly created role of Purchasing Officer. Your focus will be to plan, purchase and coordinate all production related raw materials, components, externally manufactured systems; whilst coordinating with subcontractors.


Your Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years purchasing experience in high SKU counts manufacturing environment
  • Experience in made to specification technical purchasing will be highly regarded
  • Previous background in a manufacturing environment is a MUST
  • You will need energy, flexibility and resilience for this role
  • Sound knowledge of all aspects of inventory management
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent listening, negotiating and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, including managing changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Personal organisation and planning; with the proven ability to stay on top of the work load
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, (written and verbal)
  • Computer literate and competent on standard Microsoft Office applications

Your day:

  • Arrange for the purchase of all raw materials and components
  • The coordination of Subcontractors
  • Review and maintain the Min/Max, EOQ
  • Maintenance of ERP system data, particularly supplier and pricing setup
  • Backup to the Production Planner as required
  • Provide ongoing assistance on new sourcing activities and other improvement projects
  • Participate in stock take process
